Professional family portraiture is of inestimable value. A quality portrait has the ability to freeze time for future gnerations. Framed on a wall in your home, a family portrait becomes an heirloom for all to enjoy, both now and in the years and decades ahead ("This is how we were.")
Cost is often foremost in the minds of those seeking the services of a portrait photographer. The rates listed below are competitive and consumer-friendly, while honoring my expertise, equipment, artistry, and time.

WHEREVER WE CARE TO
Family Portrait packages start at $499 for up to 5 family members. This includes the session, a gallery of proofs from which to choose, and 4 individually, artistically edited photo files. There will be a $75 charge for each additional retouched photo. Please allow an additional $50 per person or pet beyond a family of 5.
Street style or street fashion images have seen a surge in popularity in recent years. If you've always dreamed of having a magazine-style shot of yourself, this is your opportunity! Street sessions begin at $195 per person with no clothing changes. You may bring a jacket, sweater or accessory to vary the look at no extra charge. The fee includes your 30 to 45 minute session, and one beautifully and artistically retouched digital image.
Headshots are often needed for business websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, and even dating sites. This package begins at $195 per person and includes the session fee and one beautifully and artistically retouched digital image file.
50% of the total fee is due on or before the day of your session. I can send an online invoice to you prior to your session (payment made via PayPal) or you may bring a check to the session. The remaining 50% is due once you make image selections from your gallery of proofs. I will send an invoice, and once payment has been made, I'll begin the retouch work.
The style of family portraiture has evolved in recent years. Portraits in which all members are wearing jeans and white shirts (or black) now look dated. I recommend limiting the color palette to one neutral and 2 complementary colors -- or 2 or 3 pastel shades that blend. You may also send me snapshots of outfits you are considering.
For headshots, keep it simple. We don't want bold prints to compete with your lovely face.
With street fashion, choose an ensemble that best conveys your fashion sense, and that communicates who you are.
Always wear colors that blend well with your hair and skin. You can tell by simply holding various colors next to you in front of a mirror.
Yes! Absolutely! I will not meet with you without a pior consultation. This can easily be done by phone, email or text. In the case of a family, I enjoy learning more about the kids, their interests and hobbies, and their ages. In the case of individual portraiture, I would inquire about the purpose of the photo (use on website? where?). I consult with each client about clothing choices.
